PI Volunteer Trips - General Information
Each year, PI facilitates several humanitarian aid trips to the various countries we work in. Trip activities range from building projects using the
most basic tools and equipment to taking orphans on shopping sprees in a local market (and everything in between). PI’s Volunteer Trips require flexibility and adaptability. We ask that participants be willing & prepared to lend a hand in any number of tasks/activities and understand that schedules and agendas can change in a moment's notice.
We do our best to provide a "full service" operation when it comes to volunteer trips. The trip fees listed include: airfare, travel insurance, ground transportation, meals, lodging, translators (if needed). You are responsible for: transportation to and from our departure airport, personal spending money, and meals or expenses during travel to and from our destination or during sightseeing portions of the trip. (ALL of this is explained in more detail at our Team information meetings).
Application Deadlines - Please
be sure to get your deposit and application into the office (or submitted online) by the deadline. We need to determine if we have enough participants to make a trip viable. It cannot be assumed that just because we have a trip listed that we will be taking a team. A minimum number of participants are required to make a trip "work" a
nd get the job done.
2011 and 2012 Trips are listed below. Click on the links in the descriptions for further information and/or to submit an application.
